Alyxandra Buhler

1. 1. Christina’s first memory of a computer is when she moved to the States and while her parents were moving in their computer was set up and she was playing on it. Chris’s first memory is of his Dad playing solitaire, and Alyxandra’s first memory is of her playing the game snake on it in her pantry room.

2. 2. Chris and Christina both got their first computers when they were 15 and they were both Mac books. They both wanted them and asked for them from their parents. Alyxandra was given her first desktop computer when she was much younger and her parents purchased it for her.

3. 3. Christina’s positive experience was for a situation when she needed to translate a language to her grandparents so they could understand her. Chris’s positive experience is that he can stay connected and close with his family who lives far away. Alyxandra’s experience is school related and being able to type a paper in school when she was younger instead of having to write the whole thing out. All of our positive experiences are different from one another.

4. 4. All three of us believe that we spend too much time on our computers in general, which is a negative way it impacts us. Also, Alyxandra had a bad experience when she had a final paper due and her computer crashed just a few hours before and lost all of her work, so sometimes computers can be unreliable.

5. 5. Computer parts we can think of

- Screen

- Battery

- Motherboard

- Camera

- USB Port

- CPU

- Speakers

6. Alyxandra and Chris both sometimes use external hard drives such as flash drives to back up work. We all would miss our music and pictures if anything were to happen to our computers and Chris made the point that he would be concerned that someone would be able to get his credit card information that is saved on some of his websites.

7. We all belong to Facebook, Fsu email, Blackboard accounts. Christina has a hotmail account for her email and Chris has a youtube account. Alyxandra has a Twitter and we all used to have Myspace and Aim accounts.

8. None of us are aware of storing any data in cloud.

9. Chris goes to College Humor and YouTube. We all frequently visit Stumpleupon and Alyxandra visits gossip sites such as Perez Hilton and People while Christina visits Netflix.
